After more than two decades as an experimental ambient composer, Emanuele Errante unveils a new musical venture named eXe. Departing from the ambient landscape, eXe explores a fusion of electronic genres, including urban, trip hop and techno. Despite this stylistic shift, this new project maintains a dedication to sound research, ensuring a unique and engaging sonic experience.

“Alone” narrates the story of a woman enduring persistent bullying and psychological violence from her husband. However, the song takes a significant turn as she discovers the strength to reclaim her life.

The song was recorded at Emanuele Errante’s studio. Several synthesizers including a vocal synth were used for this production.

The mood is intentionally melancholic and dark, capturing the emotional depth of the narrative.
