Donna Regina’s first album, Lazing Away, is finally being re-released digitally. Originally released in 1992 on Our Choice, the album combines two cover versions—Léo Ferré’s “Avec le temps” and Neil Young’s “Heart of Gold”—with seven original compositions, including “Water So Blue,” the band’s very first self-written song.

Recorded in their small home studio using a 4-track tape recorder and an eclectic mix of guitars and keyboards, the songs feel intimate and sincere, as if they were carried straight from the living room out into the world.

A musical gem for both longtime fans and new listeners alike.
